SEO or Search Engine Optimisation is key to ranking on the first page of a search. But how does it work?

Google tries to work out how relevant your website is to customers searching for your business in the Brisbane area. It looks at what keywords you are using and how often you use them. It also looks at how long people spend on your website to decide if your website is of value.

One great way to increase your use of key words and the amount of time people spend on your website is blogging.

For blogging to be successful in driving traffic there are a few things to take into consideration:

  1. The length of your blog posts.

  2. How often you post.

  3. How relevant your content is.

  4. Social Media Marketing.

A good starting point is to post at least once a week and as close to the same time as possible.

Blog posts should tend to be longer, around 500 to 1000 words.

Your content should make great use of key words that are relevant to your industry whilst still being interesting for your reader.

And finally social media! It’s not enough to write a blog post on it’s own. Make sure you share it on all your social media channels to drive traffic to it.

  • Editing

  • Sharing your content on a range of social media platforms including your Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and any other social media platforms you use.
